Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye...........


Holi is one of the auspicious festivals in India. Lots of colors mingle together. All forget their enmity and extended their hands of friendship to each other. The roots of the event of Holi can be tracked to the legendary era. The actual significance of Holi in Hindi is "burning". The referrals of how it became associated with "burning" can be discovered in historical Native Indian Myth.
Mawa Gujiya is of the delicious sweet dish, especially from North India side. So it would be better if you can make it at your home. So the making process of Mawa Gujiya is here:
Ingredients for Gujiyas:
            ·         2cups Maida or flour
            ·         1tb sp hot oil
            ·         1/4tb sp Salt
            ·         Oil for frying
Ingredients for Filling:
·         100grms Mawa or Khoya or MilkSolids
·         1/4cup Grated coconut
·         1tb sp Almond flakes
·         2tb sp Raisins
·         100 gms Sugar
·         1/4tsp Cardamom powder
Ingredients for sealing:
             ·         1tb sp Maida
             ·         1tb sp Water
Process to Make:
             ·         Fry the khoya in a pan until brownish, add the grated grape, almond flakes, raisins,cardamom, glucose and mix it, keep aside for later  
             ·         Take the maida or flour  in a dish, add hot oil
             ·         Rub and mix well
             ·         Meanwhile create the insert for closing by combining maida and water
             ·         Make little paintballs from the money, roll as slim little chapathi with a moving pin
             ·         Place enough stuffing within the chapathi, implement the closing on one part of chapathi
             ·         Fold and closure it firmly, use your hands  to close it and media it firmly
             ·         Prepare all the gujiyas and protect it with wet fabric
             ·         Heat the oil in pan, don't over warm the oil
             ·         Fry the gujiyas until mild brownish, strain the unwanted of oil with document soft towel
             ·         Store in an air stiffened box
